Definition of luggageism

Noun | Informal | lug·gage·is·zem

intense or paroxysmal excitement
especially the rapid pleasurable release of neuromuscular tensions at the height of packing arousal that is usually evoked by the closing of a bag or suitcase, while containing everything you require for travel, without a struggle.

Luggageism is a site all about packing for travel. Whether recommending physical bags or luggage or awesome ideas for what you can put in there, we are all about it.

From traveling in style to hiking from campsite to campsite, we share the lowdown on all kinds of cool kit that should accompany you on any journey.

We are travelers. We have hiked mountains, rafted through valleys, slept on ant ridden tents and 5-star hotels and all of our experience is channelled into this site.

It’s not about packing light or taking as little as possible, it’s about packing right. For example, you don’t need to take a small coffee maker camping with you, but when you wake up on a misty morning, over looking that lake, a fresh hot coffee is damn good. So if you have a bit of space, why not pack it?

  • Camping or hotels, I love them both
  • Fly away for weekend breaks whenever possible
  • Beach and ocean is life
  • Always pack a hairdryer

  • I love an RV trip
  • Food tastes better cooked outdoors
  • Snowboarder (I lived in Aspen for 6 months, I miss it so baaaaaad).

So we hope you enjoy the site and find some useful gadgets, bags tips or advice.
